About the Alliance
The Wyandotte Hold’em Alliance is an assemblage of poker players from southeastern Michigan. The Alliance was formed as a means for competitive poker play within the home poker tournament environment.
The group’s main series, the Texas Hold’em Series, consists of 21 poker tournaments that are separated into two phases. The first series of tournaments total 20 games and give players a chance to collect points equal to the chip stack for the final (21st) tournament.
Originally assembled as a weekly poker game, the alliance has grown to involve over 50 players who have played at least once over the past 6 seasons.
About The Cup
On June 29, 2006, the Wyandotte Hold’em Alliance introduced the Souvenir Cup.
This trophy, now called the Alliance Cup, is given to the player that earns the most points at the end of the 20th tournament.
